HALLOWEEN 2008 PART 3 (Bellaboo)

This little stinkpot wouldn't sit long enough to get a really good picture......but ain't she cute! She really doesn't need all the friss and froe to look as cute as she is, it's just fun for me!! We went to the store and boy I usually can get in and out but today everyone and thier and mother (especially the elderly!) stopped to play with Bella! GEESHH! but it's super sweet to see people agreeing that she is just so dang stinkn cute!!

UM yeah had to bribe her a little with some peanut butter crunch cereals...her favorite!

This one is my FAVORITE!!
This one is cute but blurry!

This was just her daytime halloween clothes ( did I just say JUST!!lol!)
Her costume is similar to this, can you guess what it is....mmmmm?!
You'll have to wait until I post tonight...probably really late or even tomorrow)

HALLOWEEN 2008 PART 2 (Food)

I made Chili this morning for a friend's get together before the trick r treating...It is really yummy!!

All you need is: Hamburger meat 3 pounds, a big can of diced tomatoes, a med. can of ranch style beans, a bellpepper chopped up, white onion chopped up, Cilantro ( abunch cut up) and ham chopped up about a cup and 1/2, these spices above ( yes that's menudo mix...I love these spices!) I would say about a tsp of each, lighter if you don't like alot of spice The cornstarch is for after wards if I want it to be thicker.... Put it in your crockpot all day....YUMMY! Halloween cookies...this is the best recipe from Wilton, I double this because I like my sugar cookies thicker!
Wilton Sugar Cookies

1 c. butter, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp coconut extract or almond extract, 2 tsp. baking powder, 3 c. flour.

mix well and roll out on flour surface but not too thick. preheat oven to 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes!

Buttercream Frosting (makes 3 cups)

1/2c. solid vegetable shortening, 1/2 c. butter stick, 1 tsp. coconut or almond extract, 4 c. confectioners sugar, 2 T. milk

I blend well in my kitchenaid for about 5 min and then add my icing colors...This is supposed to look like a light purple....(still trying to figure out Photoshop)

Cookies for Sabrina's class, and the others will be for tonight at my neighbor's!

HALLOWEEN 2008 PART 1

We did our toes last night, Sabrina got a tub of water and bubbles to soak our feet in and they each wanted something diffrent...I love that!

WOW my toes look gigantic...heehee!

This morning the girls did this quick flip flop transformation....I had already done the strips for something else I was gonna do but never got around to it, and Sabrina said hey mom let's put these on our flipflops....that girl is a genious!!!

CUTE SHOES...in 5 minutes!!

Here is Sabrina all beautiful that girl...She had some glitter spray that she sprayed on her and Cambrie....They are all sooo dang cute!! The sticker was from the dollar store and the necklaces I made last year!

HALLOWEEN DIVAS!!

Can't forget Colts...he just wanted to wear a black shirt, he said it was too girly to dress up...!

Thanks so much you kids for letting mom have some fun with you!! You are soo fun!!

Halloween Wardrobe IS DONE!

Here is the onesie for Bella...I didn't put the orange satin circle behind the skull because the skull was too big, I didn't want to have to draw another one because this one took me a little bit and besides I liked it big like this. She is going to wear her black leggings with a small orange tutu for the holi-day...fun!

This one is Cambrie's shirt the same as Sabrina's but with a different bow...cute!

So the bags have an initial of the kids names using the same polka dot fabric and satin orange ...simple and cute
These two are Sabrina's and Cambrie's....

These two are Bella's and Colton's...like really Bella needs a bag...but Mom does...heehee!

I didn't want to make Colton's too girly so I changed the fabric to this BOO one and only used one ribbon...he said it was AWESOME! These hopefully will last a few years and I will not have to be frustrated on my way out trick r treating and realize that I have forgotten those darn bags..!!LOL!
This is Bella's hair bow...I really heart the spider ring around the pom pom ball...

The back I just glued on a felt piece and then used a bobby pin. These work soo well for the girls' hair and also for interchanging headbands on Bella. The other clips are not good for the girls' hair so I like this for them to be able to wear all of them....

These bows are all different, I like to just be creative and see what I come up with...of course I love the tulle...and the little pom poms..

Young Women FUN!

Can you tell I am SOO loving YW's??
We have the BEST girls, they are so much fun and loving and super sweet!! GOOD GIRLS!!

We are awesome leaders...OH YEAH!!

We went to Polar Ice for some ice skating fun.....everyone did a great job, no one got hurt but there were a few blisters.....that's ok!

mmmm someone got a hold of my camera......

One down...three more to go!

Finally got Bella's trick r treat bag done, why her first...mmm...not sure it was the letter I picked up first! They match the shirts I made but with thier first initial so there isn't any confusion on who's bag is who....I hate that dilemma!! Hey I am trying to be organized as much as possible for Halloween, gotta have my bag to carry all the extra costume stuff, for trash, water...yaddy yaddy yaddy....
Oops gotta trim that frayed ribbon....my OCD is kickin in...heehee!

My Halloween Card 08'

I was over at the Scrapbook Barn, which I have never been there before, I usually go to Divine Memories or Scrapbooks Etc....but they had this really cute display and I saw this card...ok so at first I saw the black cat ON VELVET paper, then the the cute ribbons but what got me....can you guess?? yep that's right...THE BLING!!! I was sold! The girl behind the counter said "Gosh that was quick, I wish I could shop like that!" my response? "When I see something I love...gotta make it!" (did you see the "make" not the "buy" it....heeehee!)The black cat was actually punch outs and they had it on regular and a sparkly glittery paper but the sample was on the velvet and they weren't going to get anymore in, so I had to buy one which was like 50 cents and a sheet of the velvet paper and just traced the cat. I had all the ribbon and the bling and the paper at home.
I printed off the "boo" in different fonts and then printed off the inside too...

Totally Blinged-Out CUTENESS!!

So I wanted to start the "You've Been Boo'd" in my neighborhood since it looks like no one has started it yet and it's getting really late...so I decided to make my "Monster Mix". I just get all my mixins which I used..
My homemade granola, oreos with the mint creme (I couldn't find the orange ones..mmmm) candykorns, m&m's, marshmallows, caramel bits and almond bark the vanilla kind. All you do is melt the bark and then pour into all the mixins together, stir lightly and then lay out flat on wax paper and let set for an 1/2 hour. You're done! Simple and OH SO YUMMY!!

Gotta add my little tag with some glitter!
and also glitter this cup, tied it up with wrap and ribbon...cute!!

OH MY GOODNESS.....I was at Walmart getting my cd's of pictures off my camera and remembered someone telling me I need to re-format it so it works properly, and so was messing around with it and came across the backup button, so I'm like mmm I wonder what this does...and voila! 20 pics showed up of Bella when she was around 4 months old.... The story is that around this time my computer crashed and it had video and pics of her from the time I was pregnant up until she was 4 months...I wasn't able to save these pics off my hardrive, I was able to retrieve everything else but not these....I was crying for days!!! So yes I am totally excited even if they are just a few of her......isn't she just the cutest thing!!!

She looks just like Sabrina when she was a baby!!
