Look what came in the mail...yeah!!

This PINK envelope....
I saw this last year when everything is pink started this and was too late to join in, but prepared myself this year....YEAH!!
This is what came inside......(discounts from Pink Christmas sponsors!) lots and lots of discount coupons for all the things I absolutely LOVE!! I even got some vinyl pieces, a hairclip and a cute bookmark from TipJunkie.....I SO feel like a blog celebrity..heehee..
Over at everythingispink.blogspot.com she does this every year (well 2nd year..lol), where you pay 15$ and this goes to a special family in need.....this year she is doing 3 families, and one is the Nielson (nienie) family here in Arizona! Along with this charity she has set up aka.."Pink Christmas "where she puts two people together as secret sisters. The idea is to make a "homemade" boutique package for this person for Christmas that answered a questionairre about herself and what she likes so you can kinda get to know her a little( her blog is so FUN!!)....lucky for me the gal I have sounds like it could be my twin.....too funny. and she lives in Mesa, AZ!! AND she is LDS!! Everything Pink is just amazing to me and sooooo thoughtful to put this all together, and the sponsors are also so great to offer discounts on thier products!
I will definetly be using alot of them for MY christmas shopping....whewheww!!!!

Helping Nie Recovery spread the word....

Some of you who are obsessive bloggers and blog-readers like myself may have also come across the story of Stephanie and Christian Nielson who were involved in a plane crash on August 16th (read the story here). I don't remember where I first came across the news, but I have since spent hours (yes actual hours of my days) reading about this cute family and their extended family. I have read the old posts on Stephanie's blog, The NieNie Dialogues, and now check her sister's blog, C Jane Enjoy It, daily (and have read all her old posts as well). The accident itself was obviously a tragedy, but I have been so moved reading about how this family has come together to support one another and how many other bloggers are doing what they can to help as well. Although I may not be in a position to donate to their recovery, spreading the word so they receive extra prayers is something I can do!

This 4th post is a record!

I saw this on my friend's blog and wanted to post them. I think this is a great idea and I wanted to help spread the world, plus this lady is super talented as you can see. These are photos that portray Christ interacting with modern day children in different real life situations. Prints will be available for purchase very soon. She will be donating proceeds to foundations envolving helping children. She is still in the works of getting things together ... looking for children's foundations and churches that would like to help participate with this project, by hosting exhibits, and helping to spread the word so that she can help more children, through the purchase of the prints. The exhibits will be nation wide, this holiday season. She is looking for help nation wide in this effort. Check her blog for updates on these events. She will have a site and blog up soon for this project. Until then just back on her blog. I Put these up though because I absolutely love these pictures of Christ in a modern day setting.....very peaceful. her blog is rustyhelenrobsonfamily.blogspot.com and these are called "Captured Miracles" Just love it!!
