Cheer Competition...

This weekend the girls had thier cheer competition in Anthem...it was alot of fun and neat to see the girls compete! They came in FIRST place on thier dance, but no trophies were handed out due to some squads pulling out at the last minute in some of the different age groups. Cambrie came in 3rd place for her toe touch and cartwheel..that was exciting for her!

This is her coach Shannon and her daughter who also helped out alot! They were great coaches to the girls and taught them ALOT!!

These are such cute girls and they did such a great job!! I can't wait to get my video and I also need to buy some shots from the photographer who was there...

Night out for dinner...

We went to a wedding reception Sat. night thinkn they would have food, but they didn't so we decided to go eat at one of our fav. family spots...Texas Roadhouse! It was fun, but boy did we get alot of people saying how cute we were, I guess because we were all dressed up...too funny!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SABRINA DEAR!!

Sabrina turns 11 yrs old today, well um actually 2:35 am this morning (officially)!! When I think back to when she was born, her birth was easy peasy and it was so much better than R.J.'s birth (c-section). At the hospital we were both sleeping when the nurse said "ok wake up dear it's time to push.." I was like "ok, hunny time to push"! heehee it was soo funny! It took only 3 big pushes and she was out! But as she got to around 3 weeks boy did she have colic..until around 4 months old. She has been my definite "VERY HARD" newborn but by the time she got to 9 months she has been my easiest toddler and child....so far. We will see how these next few years pan out....hopefully she isn't a moody teenager....but that's ok I still love her dearly!
This pic is the youngest one I have of her until I can get a new scanner. My d135 isn't compatible with windows vista...ugg so this one is of her at 2 yrs old...still was a poser than and loved the camera!!


Here she is now....what a beauty!! She got taken out of school today by nana for lunch and shopping...so tomorrow we will celebrate at school....remember around here birthdays last about a week...heehee!

Some Fall Decor.......

Here are some of my little decorations for fall....I really like the straw stick idea I got from Kimba over at asoftplacetoland.blogspot.com.....if you get a chance she has such amazing fun cute SIMPLE deco ideas.....! The topiary I made at a SSaturday a few years back and I love it!
of course gotta add my stuff in my jars, I actually have since added to it after I took this pict.

I always have to add a little sheer to whatever I am doing, bling, sheer tulle...you get me, the pebbles add extra touch....and some sparkle...

R.J.'s Football team came in 2nd place at Championships..

R.J.'s football team "the Dawgs" went to Championships again for thier 4th year. They came in 2nd to the same team they lost to last year by one touchdown. This year it was quite a few but his team did thier best!! R.J. is lucky to have such a great dad to coach him again (6 years!) Now he will be playing high school football next year and Ray will coach Colton's team. Ray actually coached Colton's this year too...but geesh that was so chaotic...I am secretly relieved Football season is over... It was an emotional day for him though and such great memories....R.J. you did such a great job and you are such a great athlete..! Love YOU!!

UPDATE..on my Fabulous Pantry..(YES I am bragging..!!)

So the pantry has finished walls and now the boys are working on the shelves, then those will need to be painted, baseboards need to be added and also a vent and of course my craft table and shelves too...but I really can't wait until all my food is up off the floor and organized on my shelves!! Can't wait to break out the labels and add buckets and baskets....

I love the shutters and natural light in here....I am so glad we kept those in...its sooo pretty!!

So far this is what I have...obviously I need to pay a visit to Kirklands or Home Goods for some more knicknacks....(oops my O is falling down..)

Family Night at the Cannery..!

I called in last month to make an appt for the cannery......it has changed since the LAST time I was there, which was a long time ago! You can't just show up and can whatever you want, now they have you make appts. and only to can what they have scheduled for that month...The Johnstons came with us since they are family and they were all jokin about not havin the "mormon" badge...lol! It was sooo funny not to mention the big silver canister lookin things as we pulled up..I was sayin yeah we gotta take a "secret" passage down under ground and show them our badge...heehee!! We were laughin like crazy!!
The kids had such a good time we are planning on coming once a month for a while ...that'll be fun!!

Kellee and I didn't read the instructions about not wearing jewelry, she ended up losing one of her earrings...and so we were jokin about that too..! Luckily my earring broke at dinner afterwards..lol! Ray ended up seeing a longtime friend from high school and of course he said..."You Mormon??!!!??!! He gets that alot....he was a crazy kid back then...WAY back then..!
