I have had this for awhile and found it at good ole' Walmart on sale and asked Ray, "Can paint go bad?" (hint hint) Well he got the hint and started to unscrew the door....I was real excited, I think more to just check off something on his "To Do" list! heehee Poor guy has a zillion things to do around our house, I think our house is finally getting OLD, but I love my home and not planning on leaving it!
Lovin' the spraypaint kind...not messy just fuemy! (is that a word?)
This is the door off the hinges before it's makeover... All you do is either strip paint off or sand down the door and then tape off the sides and doorknob hole. Then just spray the chalkboard paint. He sprayed using 1 can first and waited over night, then sprayed with a second can, again and let the door dry a second night.
My guy just looks Hot when he's at work...(wink)
The kids couldn't wait to use their new chalkboard....FUN!
Colton LOVES to draw, maybe it'll save some trees....can I call that Going Green?!

I've seen this and I thik it's a F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S. invention! Now, I just need to get it on that never ending "to-do" list!
I think that chalk board paint so soooo cool too!! I always thought it would be neat painted on a dresser or just on dresser drawers to write what belongs in that drawer(tee shirts,underwear, socks, etc.)!! Maybe my boys might put their cloths away if the drawer was labled with big BOLD chalk letters -I think that's just wishful thinking!!
What a great Idea! I have a zillion ideas like that but do I do them NO! Tres has a sign shop and do I have one ounce of wall writing in my home NO! That's it, you have inspired me to make my list of things I need to do and not give up on them! You are so smart! Who could think that we are just one can of spray paint away from something so cute and entertaining?!
