Is this where I post my favorite family tradition?
This is kinda silly, but it's a tradition. Every weekend, either Saturday or Sunday, we make our menu for the week and then we all go gorcery shopping together as a family. It gives us time to spend time together as a family, and it's one less chore that I have to do on my own!
A tradition I have that involves both family & friends is that I collect recipe cards from them with the recipe in their own handwriting. I've been doing this since my bridal shower (8 yrs. ago) and I have already reaped many special rewards from it, such as my grandmother's handwriting, now that she has passed away, etc. It is always so nice remember hanging out with friends from the college years and making treats with their cards that take you all the way back to those memories, just from simple handwriting!
I love the grocery shopping tradition, we do this and I give the kids items that they are responsible for getting and then we meet back at a designated place, usually the food court...FUN!!
I'm a SAHM of 6 beautiful babies. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Ray going on 15 years. I just love to be organized, creative, sew, entertain and just have fun with my family! Anything goes when it comes my way and I love love LOVE a challenge!

We have such a fun family tradition of going on a hayride and picking out pumpkins for Halloween. I love the fall weather and the smells in the air.
