Football Cake and Cupcakes...!

I made these for my friend's son's birthday party this past weekend....and they turned out really cute! Of course though the brown is not dark enough so I had to use the jar frosting for that dark brown around the edges. I also had to use a box of cake mix and then a cake mix from scratch because I didn't have 2 boxes, but everyone loved it...I think it was the coconut extract I used forthe buttercream frosting...heehee..try it! It is so much yummier than vanilla extract! That is my little secret!! but I will share!

Happy Birthday Con!! We LOVE you!!

Awesome cake! This is a new thing I would like to learn...but I all our birthdays are in the fall/winter. Someday...

I do the signature on my pictures by creating a brush in photoshop (or photoshop elements) Then you just select the brush and it's a piece of cake from there. I also build my headers in photoshop. Do you do digital scrapbooking? It does take some time to learn but it's very helpful (That's also how I made my handout for yw) You can buy all sorts of stuff (and a ton is free online) You just need to know some photoshop basics to use them. Google google google if you're trying to figure out something and don't give up! Photoshop is not the most user friendly software...but it is the BEST software so don't spend your money elsewhere. Hope that helps!
