Kids First Day of School 2010

Here are some pics of the kids and thier first day of school....With 6 kids I feel like I never get anything done....but when I look at my blog I can see that I do!!  Anyhow here is sweet Bells starting Pre K for the second yr...she has really improved on her speech:)

Pretty Cams

Pretty Bree
Handsome Colts

Stunning Rj...yes I have a 17yr old with his own truck! Actually this was his 16th present I never blogged about...but this truck is identical to Hubs high school truck that he used to take me out on for dates...its crazy all these yrs have flown by...:( SO you can imagine the Hubs excitement when he found this baby for sale! I think Hubs drove it more than the boy..ha!

Bells gets to ride this lil' school bus every morning.  At first I was a little scared..but the two lady busdrivers are seriously the sweetest people and so caring and so fun...I have gotten to know them pretty well! My kiddos don't do the bus thing...but this age there is no bullying and all the bad stuff..just the fun cute 7 kids singing songs almost like my memories of going to girls camp..lol.

Test Taking SuRvIvAl KiTs for the kiddos:)

If you know me...then you know that I LOVE making these kits! I can find SOME reason or excuse to make these and they are SO MUCH FUN!!:) I have done these for my kids for a couple of years now and it seems like they just keep getting bigger and bigger....so this year I decided on the brown lunch bag and thought it fit cute with the school theme and all:) I am going to try my hardest to upload to scribd so everyone can download if they like but in the mean time send me your email and I can send this over as an attachment if you'd like!

Teacher ApPrEcIaTiOn Gift...! (REVISED)

(I re-uploaded my pics so you can right click on them now....wierd!)

Of course you know when I start something, it seems to be the only thing I can think of..hence...these super cute survival kits! What do you think? I had to buy like the box of the item instead of just one bandaid, so at least the bag was filled up. I think they turned out adorable, but I have to say I accidentally left off my signature tags....owell! I am sure these awesome teachers won't mind..! I have been very lucky to have such great teachers all the time, every year with my kids...SERIOUSLY no issues, well maybe like two that were quickly handled. I try to be involved as much as I can with the kids and school, and with so many of them it can be hard at times...but really my kids do so well with thier teachers that its been nice to see them have friendships with them....it's great!

Easy Teacher Valentines...!

On Wednesday for YW....we did these cuties....I have seen the infamous "cake pops" and thought there is no way we could bake those little things in an hour and at the church...so my first thought was to do mini marshmallows and then to do the big ones on sticks..THEN saw them over at Grace Violet...love her blog btw! They were soo easy and the girls had so much fun!
The kids decided they wanted to do these for thier teachers...since I had all the stuff for them I said...ABSOLUTELY!!
We made like a ton...so Ray is giving some to his workers at the shop and the kids have some extra to give to thier friends....it was a fun night!
LOL trying to get a professional shot....yeah right NOT happening!!heehee

Halloween T's for my girls....

My kids at thier elementary school are not allowed to dress up in their costumes for school, understandably HOWEVER they are allowed to wear, black and orange!! So of course I had to create my own thing and this is what I came up with....

The rhinestones I added because I LOVE bling and recently learned how to do it! Cambrie's is the same and right now am working on the bows for their hair...I still have another week, so I have actually been quite busy working on doing a few alterations for Sabrina's Candy Corn Witch costume (it's quite short and goes off the shoulders she ended up having to buy the "tween" size.....darn those immodest costumes...HELLO don't these people know that you don't just do away with modesty just because it's Halloween..!!) GGEESSHHH!!
And I have been making Bella's costume....YES I know, but I just couldn't get myself to buy the lady bug one at the store...seriously not cute and girlie enough!

It's been really fun, though...the wings are giving me some issues but I will be done with it tonight sometime after my kids get home, (lucky me it's a half day and usually I am STOKED about it, but today is a REALLY bad day for half day!!ugg) and I help one of my YW with her personal progress project, help another one of my YW with a halloween costume, go to THREE parent/teacher conferences(lucky for me I didn't have to meet with any of R.J.'s teachers, he is doing SO good with school) and then attend a Stake YW meeting tonight! By the way I have to finish her costume because tomorrow night is our Ward Trunk R Treat....! Oh yeah I can't forget the committee needs our Hot Dog Cart for that AND I have to set up our Beehive Booth.....There is actually more to put down but I am tired of typing....heehee

Anyhow such is life....Right?!

Sabrina's Violin performance!

On Thursday night Sabrina had a violin performance. It was her first one and she was so nervous. But she did an awesome job. This girl loves anything musical, singing, piano and now violin!! It's nice when you have a child who practices on her own without mom getting after her all the time!!

Afterwards Sabrina chose Olive Garden for Dinner (but I didn't take any pics)

and then on over to Krispy Kreme, our all time FAVORITE place!!
Sabrina loves their milk and swears that they have their own cows inside the place that they get their milk from...she calls it EXTRA FRESH!!
Cambrie looks like she could work there, no really doesn't she...heehee!
AAHHH watching the infamous donut creation......!
Overall it was as usual a total blast....I just LOVE hangin out with my family, they are my utmost favorite people in the whole wide world!!

I came across this darling stationery at Simply Silhouettes.
Now that the kids are in school I kinda can't wait for them to be late or absent. That sounds silly but look at these darling School Notes from Simply Silhouettes! Darling! I know!! I can send a note to thier teacher in style. Cuz that's what it's all about right? :) They even have one to give to your babysitter. I am wondering if there would be enough room for 5 kiddos!!LOL!
These would make a great present!
I am totally in the SILHOUETTE thang!!

Another Cute Idea...

Fancy Drop Off Lunch Boxes.......for your kids or hubby.

Except for him probably different food..heehee. But I love this idea I found over at Blissfully Domestic (great site), since I do lunch with the kids once a week. They still would like to go somewhere or me bring them lunch from a restaraunt, but really you could do so much with this idea.....make it a theme or somethin...totally cute!
Here are some other "lunchbox ideas":
