All about.....BaPtIsMs..!!

Since I am on this scrapbooking thing..along with alot of other "crafty" stuff on my mind, Cambrie turns the big 8 in February and so I have been thinking of things for that. Now I have done this 3 times for my kids and like 7 other times for friends and family members I feel like I do something to the same effect every time...don't get me wrong, each one is different and taylored around that person but I want something different....any ideas?? I am all about traditions, starting them and doing them..so for anyone needing a new tradition for Sabrina's baptism I gave a talk on the Holy Ghost, got my favorite gramma Joyce and she showed me my first sewing lesson and she helped me make a white "comforter" for her and that was very SPECIAL and she loves it.I told her that when she needed to feel "comforted" that she could take this white comforter and wrap it around her, pray for the Holy ghost and that he would touch her heart to help her when she needed it that the Holy Ghost was like this comforter, to feel peace, love and warmth.... I will have to post about her baptism next and show you...so anyways I will probably do that for Cambrie too....
So anyhooo this is Colton's Baptism Scrapook that I made...I like it and think it is really cute..thought I'd share! Next I will do Sabrina's and when I get the baptism album from my good friend Kell who by the way just got baptized 4 weeks ago I will post about that too...FUN!

This is where everyone attending signed.....It also has a section where each one of us wrote down our testimonies for him....

Gotta keep the cards.....

This is his baptism program....

This is his invitation to his baptism...

So I have the big barn stars and decorated the table centerpiece with the stars and pics of Colton the same ones in his book (closeups)...it was cute..being his birthday is in July...!
So any traditions that you do for your kids' baptisms? Please Share..!!

Happy Birthday Colts..!

My lil' man Colton turns the big 10 today....can't believe how big this kid has gotten! I am grateful that he is turning out to be such a good boy...Colton is very loving and kind and is always compassionate about others and how they are feeling..he is very sensitive and will be the first one to cry about anything. He also takes care of his momma and is always making sure that I am ok or if I need help...He is the best ever...Love You Colts forever!! Hope you have a great day...we have decided to wait until after our vacation and after school starts to have his "Colton's Campground" Party...stay tuned for that...I have alot of fun things planned for this...any ideas let me know!!

These are just some fun random pics of him I found....

I felt bad after taking this pic, because when he got off he threw up from the ride and all along I was trying to get him to smile......sad!

He always loved when I gave him a haircut...but now he's older and I am not good with "older" hair..lol!

I love this one he is such a cute lil' baby...!

Easy Organization....!

Today Colton goes to our ward's Cub Scout Day Camp and it's for 3 days..so I am always worried he may lose or forget his things so I went over to one of my fav sites meckmom.com because she always has fab ideas on organizing and saw these labels....they are super cute and easy..all you need to do is print off your label, laminate, hole punch and then use these rings that open to clip onto anything...gotta love that!!

Today was Cheer and Football picture day for all our kids and it was so fun but SOOO HOT! I think all the kids are so amazing to be able to cheer and play football out in the heat with very minimal complaints....WOW!
The outfits that the girls are wearing are not their actual cheer uniforms as they have not come in yet.....bummer..but they still looked so good and man they knew their cheers! I guess almost every night for 3 weeks of practice paid off....WHEW! This is their first year doing cheer and I thought they would like to have something to do while the boys played football, it's hard work juggling it all but they love it so much!

Date with Colton

and then it was the car wash. Dang my truck was super dirty. Colton did such a great job at cleaning and vacuuming. This little man will be a great husband and daddy someday.....the girl that catches him will be so lucky...love you so much Colt, you will always have a special place in my heart, littly buelly!

Ok so Colton wakes up and says
"mom, it's my turn to date you"
and I said "ok, so what do you want to do?" and he said "lunch on me and carwash on you!" I thought that was funny, so we went to lunch at Souper Salad.....

My buelly...Colton!

Today I wanted to post about Colton! Can I just say there are not enough words to describe my buelly! The moment he came into my arms I fell in love with him and especially his little dimpled ear! As a baby he was very very good and man could he eat! and then some!! By the time he was around 15 mos. he would not let me out of his site. Every pic I have of him he is crying because I wasn't holding him or even if I was holding him he still cried. Is there such a thing as colic at this age? .....mmmm....! Now he is my energetic bullet that never ends! He loves to be in the limelight and wants to be an actor or singer....which he does good at both, he is very creative! He made me giggle and sigh and cry all at the same time when I saw the binder he made. Notice the cover page and the paper strips taped on in the inside....these are labels! How adorable is that....I guess he takes after his binder obsessed mom! I love you buddy, you are the best!

Colton's 9th birthday party!

Whew!... Today was my boy's Army party and I know... it looks like I spent a ton of money but really I only spent about 80 dollars on the whole thing. The clothing we already had from Halloween and because it's so trendy everyone has it. My hubby got the nets from a surplus store and he also made the most AMAZING boxes. I loved those so much I am keeping them in case I need them again! As the boys came Seargant Ray and with the help of birthday boy gave each boy a bandana, dog tags, glowstick necklace, a couple of tattoos, a bag of grenade water balloons, painted their face with army paint and a water gun (instead of treat bags). R.J. since he is the "Music Genious" had army songs playing too. When everyone got there we had them do their "foil dinner packets" which was a huge hit! Those needed to cook for 20min. so they were off to do their "Boot Camp". This my husband and son R.J. were in charge of. They came in and ate their packets and I served "Swamp Water". This was lemon lime koolaid, sprite, and lemon lime sherbet to give it that foamy swampy look. Cambrie and Sabrina did the icecubes with the plastic flies frozen in them the last couple of days to make the drink even more swampier. That was fun. When they were done eating it was off to their "Army War" which was with the grenade balloons and water guns. They came back for presents cake and ice cream. The cake I made with some ideas online. Except I couldn't figure out a way to put "Happy Birthday Colton" on the already "busy" cake until Colton said "Mom, you should put one of my jets on there with a banner that says it" I thought why didn't I think of that? I just love how creative my kids can be! When the boys were leaving Colton gave them their "Top Secret" envelope which had their certificate for completing his "Boot Camp". All in all it was sooo much fun to put together because over here it becomes a "family" thing and everyone helps out with ideas! That's all everyone thinks about before the party! It's so neat to see what everyone comes up with! But I do have to say that the best part of it all was when Colts came up to me and wrapped his arms around me and said "I have the bestest mom in the whole wide world!, Thanks mom that was the best party ever and I love you, I will do something special for you!. AHHHH what a total sweetie!
