Ok so I thought I would post on some crafts I HAVE accomplished!!That is probably why I am such a bad BAD blogger..I'd rather craft when I do have the time....These are my curtains in my room...this room let me tell ya...is the worse thing in my house! I hate my room....but I am slowly getting it together sorta like these curtains..which are not even what in my mind will be when fully done...I just added the burlap ruffles to them on the side...like I said...I AM NOT DONE WITH THESE! Ongoing craft on this one....

I painted chalkboard on some of my jars....so fun

Made my own laundry and dishwashing detergent...and LOVE it!! I added extra things to mine and maybe will post this seperately with a recipe...(don't hold me to it folks)

Aww these are my primary kid's BOM church bag! SUPER CUTE and easy! yes I got released from YW presidency and called to teach 4-5 yr olds...major difference...but I loved YW but something with these kids get me every time!..I love teaching primary one of my favorite callings!

Pretty Bells showing off these super cute leggings I added lace trim too...I know super easy...but I got these "arm" warmers at Styles For Less for 99cents...so my creativity perked up..she gets complimented every time she wears them....and I quietly grin:)

Ok so my new favorite place is Merchant Square! If you haven't gone you need too!! My mom has a booth there so I will go with her now and then and just browse around...it is a "makeover queen"'s dream home! Seriously! They have vintage and old everything....and some that have taken the hard work and done it for you...like this bench..I picked up for 20 bucks!!! I have it in my front porch...I made these super cute pillow..and the burlap one is blank on the other side so I flipped it for November...I know super smart I am:)

October VT handout...I just made some halloweeny bark and put a cute tag on:)

Yes I love burlap these days can you tell?..this was a canvas I got at the DI for 50 cents...I covered it with burlap, made the flower and uses a fluer de les stencil...love it!

Also got this crate at Merchant Square....added the tin piece they had there and stenciled the number, added the balls:)

I have soo much more to post on my fun things but next time:)

Kids First Day of School 2010

Hereare some pics of the kids and thier first day of school....With 6 kids I feel like I never get anything done....but when I look at my blog I can see that I do!! Anyhow here is sweet Bells starting Pre K for the second yr...she has really improved on her speech:)

Stunning Rj...yes I have a 17yr old with his own truck! Actually this was his 16th present I never blogged about...but this truck is identical to Hubs high school truck that he used to take me out on for dates...its crazy all these yrs have flown by...:( SO you can imagine the Hubs excitement when he found this baby for sale! I think Hubs drove it more than the boy..ha!

Bells gets to ride this lil' school bus every morning. At first I was a little scared..but the two lady busdrivers are seriously the sweetest people and so caring and so fun...I have gotten to know them pretty well! My kiddos don't do the bus thing...but this age there is no bullying and all the bad stuff..just the fun cute 7 kids singing songs almost like my memories of going to girls camp..lol.

I know Where do I even begin...it's been soo long! Well this was alot of fun to put together so I thought I would share it first. I decided to wait until school started so her lil friends could come and also vacation time over with, so we had her party a few weeks later...good thing is she had no idea it was late! Yes crazy it is because they are only 3 and 4 yr olds....why do you ask that I spent so much time into all the details?? Because its SO MUCH FUN!! I love when the day of something everything fits together and it truly looks exactly what I imagined it to be....even if I don't do ALL that I had planned, it still comes out perfectly in the end!

Sure you can't go to the scrapbook store or grocery shopping while the others are at school....or WORK OUT at the gym because you are too worried about the 17 yr old watching a million bratty mean kids and you walk in and yours are crying in the corner........but hey I wouldn't change it for the world....and besides I can go when my others GET HOME...ha! Life is Fun and being a mom makes it even BETTER!

Gunnar's 1st Birthday Party...!

I cannot believe this little guy is 1 yrs old already! It seriously goes way too fast for me! I meant to have his party a little earlier but things kept happening....big things that I just couldn't do it and then Easter came! But it was a blast putting all the little details together! First it starts with your paper.....so I was at the scrapbook store for 3 HOURS!!!! When I figured that out then getting the fabric and others to match was super easy! I always buy more than I need in case I need more and I get there and they are out! Worst thing ever for that to happen and it did once for non other than Girls Camp!

Anyhow...these pics are not in random order so bare with me!:)

I love throwing parties.......and most importantly to show my kids how much they are loved and mean to thier family. Sure the details don't matter....but I love to put it together and its bonding time for me and my girls especially:0) All of this will go in his 1yr scrapbox so he will have it later and I hope my kids enjoy that!

Ward Easter Egg Hunt and Usery Pass Picnic....2011

This year it was at 8 instead of 8:30.....I know you say it's only 30 min later...but seriously I NEED that extra 30 min in the morning to get up and get going...really it takes us that long just to load up everyone in the car....we always forget something! Gunnar and Bella had so much fun....Gunnar wasn't quite sure what to do...but then he got the hang of it and especially when he saw the football egg...he KNEW exactly what that was...except it made noise...funny! At Usery Pass it was fun too...especially the little hunt then also...and the crazy guy who picked up a snake and had the kids touch it!! But it was really nice out and a good time to hang with the fam and bbq and picnic...Some fun pics of us!

Easter Weekend..:)

This weekend was so much fun! Our weekend started on Thursday as we went to the Easter Pageant with some friends. On Sat morning we had our ward easter egg hunt...which I will post soon.....and then headed over to Usery Pass for my family get together! That was awesome:) Sunday of course we went to church and thought we probably should have taken our pics before church as ours start at 12:30.....ha but forgot...so of course everyone is all undone hair a mess...not to mention the super wind that was blowing.....I didn't put a pic of me and Ray up because in all of them my hair is blown back....WAY back that I look bald seriously and my dress is skin tight in all the areas it didn't need to be....geesh....but it was fun to get everyone all matchy and dressed up and even better when most of the stuff we already had! I will post more of our weekend and what we did to incorporate Christ in one of my favorite holidays!

So around blogland I saw this and thought OH MY! This is my version and I must say I love this! I will probably keep it up all summer. The hanging part was a little tricky but I figured it out and cut and sewed the hole so the hanger could go right in the middle if that makes sense! I love this fabric too so fun! I did fix it so it wasn't lopsided..ha...but to lazy to retake pics:)

I can find SOME reason or excuse to make these and they are SO MUCH FUN!!:) I have done these for my kids for a couple of years now and it seems like they just keep getting bigger and bigger....so this year I decided on the brown lunch bag and thought it fit cute with the school theme and all:) I am going to try my hardest to upload to scribd so everyone can download if they like but in the mean time send me your email and I can send this over as an attachment if you'd like!

I feel SO blessed to have such a wonderful family...an amazing husband who takes care of us, supports us and honors his priesthood...he is my best friend and having these beautiful babies expresses our love we share with eachother and within our family. I love to be a mom and would never change my role in this life for another.....I truly have found joy having my family but most importantly being sealed in the Temple for ALL and ETERNITY. I am sooooo happy that I listened to that still small voice when I prayed to know if I should marry Ray. He wasn't a member then but knew he would accept the gospel and embrace it. Now he says and reminds our family all the time..."I can't even see my life without the gospel in it.....I only wish that I had acted upon the many opportunities I had to listen and pray to know earlier that this was the only TRUE church on the earth!" He is an amazing example to me and to my kids and my kids benefit from him not being brought up in the church. They have the stories and wise words from him telling them how it is and how unhappy your life can be if you do not wrap the gospel around your soul and heart....and they listen to him because they love and respect him......Missionary work is dear to my heart because I have seen it work in my life personally and with those I love the most and am grateful for the plan that our Father in Heaven has for each one of us to hear it.......as I have looked at my life when I was not active....there were soo many opportunities that were set before me to grab a hold on....I just didn't. and regret that also because I would have been much happier like I am now...EARLIER! It's amazing to me the profound love that my Heavenly father has for me and all the times that he reached out his hand if only I would have taken it.....BUT the good thing is I have and I did! and I am never going back:) only to move further into the person he wants me and us all to be. I am truly blessed beyond measure!

Not a very good picture....but got these brown flats over at Gap....and ...well they were a little to blah for me...so I spruced them up with some lace and cheetah trim to make a half rosette and then added a pearl in the middle..super cute!! One looks smaller but I promise they are exactly the same.....:)

Conference Weekend Was The BEST!!

To begin.....this amazing yummy easy quick breakfast we have done for conference and love it especially for me because all I have to do is put it in the oven in the morning......I will post the recipe soon:)

As always, I feel soo spiritually uplifted when I can hear these great leaders speak and speak TO ME!! I truly believe that in each talk there was something that had my name on it that spoke to my heart and soul! I am soo grateful for the time that I live in that I can hear these wonderful words of inspiration and to apply them to my own family and life. I wanted to share some of the traditions that we do as a family to prepare ourselves for listening to Conference.....:) I always write in my "Conference Journal" quotes or things that I hear that I can refer back to either online or when the Ensign comes out.......I immediately put my favorites into my scriptures. My scriptures are soo fat from all the paper quotes that I have in there....but its a GOOOD fat.lol....:) These pics are not in order.....but Cambrie won our "Conference Jar"...:) I'll explain down further in my post:) It felt like Easter at our house!!! All of this I got from the dollar store....and printed of thier Conference Journal, the packet we got from out Primary:0......Don't you just love the small lil' bottle of apple cider......"Celebrate Conference"....I can always find a reason for anything I see thats fun!!

So here is our Conference Guess Jar.... During conference, each session, the kiddos get a chance or more to be super awesome so we all can hear....if they are I give them laminated guess squares that they write on with a wet erase marker the number of candy they think is in the jar.....Sabrina got the most guesses but Cambrie won....:) Also I pass out question cards for them to write a question from each session and answer on back....then for FHE which we did and it was SO MUCH FUN!.....we divide into 2 teams to see who gets the most correct questions...whoever wins serves banana splits to the other team complete with all the topping...so much more fun than being served:) and then of course BINGO.....a family favorite..

Colton's journal binder was full of things he put in thier.....He reminds me of Nephi...always the example of good :) well almost always..ha!! I put thier pages with a divider tab for each date of conference so they can keep this for thier kids.....I know I am a little "traditional Sappy"...lol:)

The younger kids also did thier tent facing conference......as we talked before about King Benjamin and preparig to listen to a prophet.....sometimes I wish it was just that for real...could you imagine the journey to hike up a mountain and pitch our tents......That would be such a surreal experience to actually go camping and do that with a laptop and projection on a white sheet.......Oh the fun in that....maybe when Gunn is a little older....:) We plan before R.J goes on a mission to go to the Conference Center for Conference...that would be a treat!

My favorite quote from conference that I felt was said just for me was.." People have check of lists, but you can't check off To Be's.....Be Begets DO." ahhhhh love that.. seriously I need TO BE everything that I want to be and what I learn and what I teach instead of just checking off things...such an amazing remider to me....since I am ultra organizing at the moment...I need TO BE better in all realms of my life and spirit as a mom, daughter, sister and friend...these words I will keep close to my heart!!!

One of my favorite times of the year is coming up...this weekend is General Conference...and I love to do our traditional favorites and adding new ones that I saw from years before!! There are soo many talented created woman out there that I love it when I have an idea and its put together already and BEST of all......SUPER CUTE!!! Cuts my time in half!! Anyhow I wish I could have a name for the blog I found this on....I only saved the actual link and she has no name on there anywhere......so if I come across it now that I am slowly adding blogging to my life again:) I will give credit where credit is due! This is a Conferance Jar....inside are 4 stacks of question slips laminated, and a overhead projector pen (expo va voz). Each stack is color coded for each session of conference (4). Each session each member of the family will get a card to write down thier question and then they put that card back into the jar. Next FHE get the jar out and divide family into two teams, go through questions and whichever team gets the most answers correct gets to serve the OTHER team Ice Cream Sundaes complete with all toppings!! How fun is that!!

I can't believe how fast the time goes.......My lil' man Gunnar turned 1 this past week and I have mixed emotions! :(:(:(:):):)
HAPPY AND THRILLED:
1. He gives kisses and hugs!
2. He says "Hi" {well more like "iy"}:)
3. He is officially on goat milk {healthier version of cow milk}
4. Plays with cars and balls {Pass the Ball..is his favorite game!}
5. Still takes his lil' binkie and loves his blankie {which saves my sanity!}
6. Bella has a little playmate {instead of a baby she can't do real fun things with}
7. Can sit up, crawl and stand up all on his own {at different months accomplished}
8. Eats alot of different finger foods instead of mashed EvErYtHiNg!
9. Loves to be read too and play games with, tickle monster, spider fingers and peek a boo.
10. Loves bathtime and playing in 3 inch water!

SAD AND MORE sad...*sniff sniff*
1. He no longer nurses:( {stopped around 9 mos when he got his two front teeth 2 wks apart}
2. I miss his newborn baby cry and skin and hair and smell most of all...{thank goodness for baby lotion..ha!}
3. I can't carry him in my baby sling anymore...way too big and heavy! {29 pounds this boy is!}
4. No longer in his super cute fun brown and tan zebra carrier!:(
5. He doesn't like to be wrapped up like a lil' burrito...:(
6. He now makes crazy food and toy messes..{more for me to clean..lol}
7. I promised my hubby no more bling and zebra when he turned the big 1..now it's sports stuff..
blah and boring..!ha!
8. StInKy DiApErS!!...yuck!
9. Right now he is going thru his 3rd separation anxiety phase..more than my others went thru!
10. Going to church is THE most difficult time right now, sitting down 2nd and 3rd hr is so hard for him although he is VERY cautious in nature he is all boy and wants to be curious (well as long as mom is there by him:).....and our church time is at 12:30...ugg naptime and lunchtime..! THE WORST...and all of us LDS moms know this...not fun!lol..

Above all.....Gunnar has been a true joy to me and to our family and he brings happiness and love more into our home! His sweet smiles and laughs keeps us all in that innocent happy child like spirit in us all and we have so much fun with him. I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world and even though I will miss those little joys of him being a little baby..he will always be my baby no matter what and am thankful for the memories we have created with him this last year!!

{HaLLoWeEn 2010}...!

I love Halloween...seriously it is one of my favorite holidays that I just can't get enough of. I love to deck my kids out for the holiday except Colton wasn't havin it this year :( but I did talk him into wearing the bead necklaces with the spiders on it..lol!

Cute lil' headband that Sabrina made for Cambrie....too cute!

and of course made the shirt...it was so fun to do, and to get the coordinating fabrics...Sabrina made the necklace and earrings for her...

I am sooo glad I have at least 3 more years of elementary age with Cambrie so I can play and dress her all up.....I love you girl!!

I am not sure why these are soo small...weird...but this one of Sabrina is at the Ward Trunk r treat...so fun...she went as an angel this year! and yes I made everything except the wings...

I was so proud of myself for making her top.....had no pattern and just made it up as I went along...it came out really cute!

Colton is a ninja dude....:) no did not make his...lol

Rj had a party to go to and so he went as a In N Out Burger Employee....fun!

And my Guns is a cuddly lil lion...no did not make..lol...he did not like wearing this thing it was too hot...:(

Cambrie as a Bumble Bee....I made her whole costume....the wings and bobby things on her head (forget what those are called..lol) are from Bells costume a couple of years ago so that was easy.....and just took a black shirt and added the ruffly strips for stripes..so cute!

Sabrina as an Angel...made her costume, and just added the ruffles on her white leatard, but bought the wings and it came with the halo that we added the boa to from what we had left over from her tutu skirt...this costume was so fun to do....

We had a blast this year and can't for next year...the kids already know what they want to be....so funny!

Ok so instead of multiple posts I thought I would do them all together.....I have to get busy on my girl's costumes, I only have a couple of days left..lol
We made Monster Cookies and put them in these cute bags I did up for our traditional "Booing" in our neighborhood...that was fun!

We carved pumpkins last Mon...for FHE...poor Sabrina got knife happy and her pumpkin became the "faceless" pumpkin lol!

We love pumpkin seeds...YUM!

I made a bunch of ties for Gun...and they turned out soo cute, they are double sided so this one is his "halloween" tie...

This we were on our way to the Pumpkin Patch.....

And this is my door wreath I did awhile back.....I love it...I got the sign at the dollar store and I used black jute, and all kinds of different fabrics for the rosettes! I am in love with lace now! Can't you tell!?:)

Seriously...I have been on this thing of sewing....I can't STOP....! Everything I see or comes to my mind it has to include sewing! I love to sew I guess and it's fun and something that I feel I get better and better every time I break out the machine...plus I have a gazillion fabric pieces to go along with my ribbon addiction as well...so fun!!
This is a black shirt I got at the dollar store to add these ruffly pieces too...it's a little different from before a little flatter, but I love it! and it is so cute on Bells! WHOOPS...losing my blogging technique..lol...sorry..
A fun pillow I made....ok one thing I do hate about my home is my BEDROOM....ugg I dread that thing....maybe because I am not to crazy for the furniture but can't affort a new set right now...and so I am trying to add as I go....ugg..but the pillow is FAB!!

It seems like the days slip past me and more and more I get behind on this blogging thing....but really I have no regrets! My family is what is most important to me and they keep me busy!! Here are some fun photos of my kiddos and what I/we have been up to..!!!

So tried the T-shirt dress thing and it turned out super cute!! I bought this at Walmart they have the cutest screen tees but it was too small so added the ruffles and tie and of course the cute head bow and a really cute outfit for Bells!!

The only thing I like about the kids in school is that I can have a little time to do some fun Crafty things......I love how this turned out....! It is actually a brooch pin that I attached to a pearl headband...because I was too lazy to make a necklace haha....so I can take it off when I want to use it as a headband..! I will take a pic of me wearing it when I look descent...because we all know when you craft you look like crap...lol!!

Actually two are headbands and one is a fun cute flower bracelet! The zebra one down below my sweet daughter made for to match an outfit the night before church....gotta love that..! I needed a navy blue one so made up this and love the leaf petals on the side..!

This year we went to Central Christian at thier new location....and it was awesome..they gave away free glow sticks and balls and they had everything imaginable for a perfect 4th! We got KFC and watermelon and pulled out our blankets and hung out for the fireworks to start....I love going there because it is so family oriented and actually this year it wasn't crazy with alot people....I don't think alot of people even knew about it....good for us..lol !!

{SaN DiEgO trip was a blast...!}

We had sooo much fun on our family trip to San Diego....we got a really nice beach house that was tri level with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms....it was absolute beautiful inside! The only downside was we got there Sat. and Sun. morning we got phone calls that Ray's mom had a heart attack and so he flew back to Az by noon that day and didn't come back until Tues. night....so I was a little nervous with 6 kids by myself in an unfamiliar place...but we got through it and I have some great kids who did thier best at helping me out with bells and gunnar...! :) We went to Seaworld on Wed. all day which our favorite place....bells LOVES shamu! and then just hung out at the beach for the rest of the week, went to Seaport village and went shopping at all the fun stores....even got asked to sell my necklaces at this fun boutique over there...maybe when I have time to make them and ship them I will lol...but right now my life is pretty much consumed!! but got her info when I am ready....fun! It was a ton of fun for our family...it was a little chilly being in June...but good....gunnar was pretty much wrapped up from head to toe because I was afraid of him getting sick that was all I needed..ha!

I made this cake for a friends daughter.......I said yes only cuz my "cake Pro" friend was gonna help me....but we got dates confused and she ended up being out of town when I needed to make it.......so there is no cute fondant or anything just your basic white cake and buttercream frosting. I tried to make it nice and clean....but to a cake genious I am sure very hideous..lol...but I love the "A" and the fun stuff I added......(a bad pic)
Sabrina and I made these really cute necklaces you see showing up at boutiques....the rings are adorable and the headband...so cute...got the fabric for 60 cents a yard at Walmart...love that..!
And of course a cute pic of my lil man....he is 11 weeks and getting soo big.....makes me sad:(....but he is starting to lose the fussy stage a little every day....so I am happy about that..!!

I got these white shirts over at Walmart on Clearance for a $1.00 and had these flags from Michaels...sewed them on and added all the cutesy flower rosettes and lace............sooo cute..!
I made cute hair ones too....but need to get extra headbands and will post when I get those done..

Maybe it will give you all some fun patriotic inspiration ladies....!!

So me and the girls have been having fun going to fun little boutiques and shops to get some ideas on how to be crafty....a small part of me doesn't feel bad when I do this because I think they are just so darn expensive...besides I like to add my own technique! I love how these super cute FUN magnets are...and really had all the stuff to make them....

I have been super busy and will try to update as much as possible....Gunnar has been keeping me up all night and all day that it is hard to post all that I have been doing...but was able to fix up another wipe case....soo cute...
Sabrina and Ashlee have been busy making cute flowers and so I tried at them for this case and they turned out cute! I will have to take some pics of thier adorable flowers they are making to sell to earn some money for San Diego in two weeks.....they are super SwEeT..!

This month we were able to take off to see the Gila River Temple in Arizona and then the Salt Lake City Temple in Utah.....going inside the Gila Temple before being dedicated was amazing! The spirit I could feel there and it was sooo beautiful inside and out. My kids enjoyed going inside, and I felt the emotions as we stood in the Bride's room looking at my girls, knowing that I would see them marry in the temple one day! At both temples, My heart was filled with joy as I reflected on my blessings for living my life to the fullest and teaching my family about the Plan of Salvation. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world, and I embrace my knowledge and happiness and true joy that I feel whenever I enter into the House of the Lord...I KNOW and BREATHE its truthfulness and try my best to be the best I can, at the end of the day I KNOW my Heavenly Father is proud of who I am and who I have become.....

So we went to my not so favorite place, Amazing Jakes for R.J.'s football fundraiser and had a great time!! Gunnar was good probably because he was in my best friend "Mr. Sling"..lol..Bella had a blast, she is soo cute....a friend of mine had her shirt blinged out and it says "Big Sis" sooo cute..... I loved seeing the kids have fun and play to thier hearts content untill about 11pm then we were done..!

He is the most {AdOrAbLe} little man ever...I am soo in love with him, even though I have literally not had sleep for the last 4+ weeks, not to count the 4 weeks before he was even born..!! But really he is such a good baby, very content! Maybe because I hold him 24 7 or SOMEONE is holding him..lol! When I am not holding him, he likes to be wrapped up like a little burrito..

{DIY changing pad}..!!

So you think I've been busy crafting right?......think again....my life consists of NO SLEEP, ROUND THE CLOCK NURSING, and POOPY diapers....no time for anything else!! Seriously I have to take my showers at night so Ray can hold Gunnar, my world is turned upside down....BUT I wouldn't change it for the world!! Amazingly enough with the help of some prayers, my lil' Bella is OFFICIALLY potty trained.....and would you believe in the middle of a diarrhea plague AND 8 days after Gunnar is born!!!! Awesome I must say, now I only have to buy and change one set of diapers..lol!! LIFE IS GOOD!! Onto this cute thing (which I must of done sleep walking lol)......all you need is some really cute fabric and a white hand towel, some cute ribbon and sew along the sides and VOILA...cute, unique, boutique'ish changing pad! I have gotten so many compliments (mainly from nurses, family and friends..lol oh yeah and the waiting room moms) and questions on how to make it.....SaSsE~y!!

Gunnar has finally arrived....on Mar. 23. He is the most {adorable }thing ever and he is such a good baby..!! He nurses around the clock but I think he just wants to be held by me and luckily Bells is not a jealous toddler..she just does her own thing and doesn't even acknowledge him unless he is wailing and then she points to him and says "he's sad"!! cute..! My labor went good, I actually had an hour and half labor by the time I got to the hospital..which was crazy, that's never happened, but I wanted to wait it out because I knew I wouldn't see the younger kids for a couple days once I got in there. ( because of the H1N1 flu season). Luckily I was given an epidural and as soon as that kicked in I had to start pushing....that took a little bit because his shoulders got stuck, but then he finally came out and WHOA he was big...a whoppin 8 pounds 13 ounces....crazy. I am soo glad I was only 1 day overdue....he would have been huge if I went longer..geesh!! Everything went perfect and the hospital (Gilbert Mercy) staff was awesome to us! The only sad thing was that my labor was so fast we didn't get a chance to get our cameras for the birth..owell...Here are some pics of Gunnar....next week my friend Holly is taking his newborn pics...can't wait...check out her amazing talent at bloggingwithholly.blogspot.com

I made this cute baby book for Gunnar...and just pretty much copied the one I did for Bella. I think it turned out cute. I will keep everything in here for his first year of life, hospital stuff, cards, bandaids, first haircut..etc....

The fun thing is I can add my own journal writings as the months go by. I love to look back and read what I put and how we coped with everything..!

Ok....so really the ONLY reason I am posting a couple of times today is because our satellite tv is out....so I can't watch my Dr.Phil and Oprah while Bells is sleeping! I finally made myself get some motivation {in my sweats, no makeup, hair in a hairtye, house a mess..}to finish Gunnar's carseat tent and a blanket. Can you tell what his nursery colors will be? It has been sooo easy for me to figure them out, because brown, creme, lime green and light blue are SO in everywhere...Walmart, Target....I mean seriously, with Bella I wanted Red and Black Damask and no one had that out then...now of course they do....!lol!!

Call me a sucker for ZeBrA.....so this is the car seat cover that I ordered from dimplesanddandelions.com, it was a little expensive, (Ray said.."Gosh you could have bought a brand new carseat, playpen and stroller put together for that price..!! MEN they don't get it..lol) and asked them to not put the bow on it so it would look less girly (the boys were happy about that..lol!) I think it is soooo adorable and can't wait to get it and put it on....
This is the car seat tent I made......very cute I think!! AND {Im bragging} with no tutorial, just kinda figured it out on my own..crazy! I prob. would have made 1 or 2 adjustments if I were to make another one.......

And this is a blanket I made......I didn't put ruffles on it, again to make it{ less girly }..(and the boys happy...lol)
If you haven't heard yet or been by, my fav. scrapbook store..(Scrapbooks Etc.) has Michael Miller fabrics NOW in the store.....so excited about that and went crazy buying material...!!

Ray surprised me this year with reservations to The Melting Pot!! We have never been there but have heard great things about the place, also heard it was expensive...AND IT IS!! It was hard to swallow when I saw the bill..(Ray was using the mens room...)I know naughty me! But it was very sweet and romantic and we just talked and had lots of fun. He always makes me laugh and our waiter was super funny too!! We were going to see Dear John but it was really late and we were stuffed so we went home and hung out with kids and watched Pearl Harbor...for like the 10th time...lol! Thanks babe for a GREAT night out...love you so very much!!

I finally got around to making the girl's bow holder except I think I may have to make it bigger..they are flower bow crazy right now!! This is I know simple and easy, just use fabric on a canvas and ribbon strips to hold the bows and hot glue it all......!

I was on one of my favorite "crafty" sites theidearoom.blogspot.com (sorry, had the wrong url...ugg)and she had this fun tutorial on how to make these really cute topiarys and balls so I took the plunge.....it was a little time consuming cutting out all the circles but then was easy after that......I of course love the tulle wreath and decided to hang this cute ball in the middle...I love it...it is so valentin-y!

New Year's CeLeBrAtIoN...!

We went out to eat at Chili's for dinner and then went to the stake center where a friend of ours has her annual New Years Party and dance until about 11:30. The kids always enjoy going to that because its all the teens dancin away and they CAN Dance..! After that we came home to watch the New York ball drop and had our sparklin champaigne...(apple cider) some friends of ours heard us doing some firecrackers and they brought over what they had....we were probably soo loud but thank goodness the cops weren't called on us..!! We had a great time...for FHE the following Monday we talked about our family new year resolutions...and one of them was to definetly do San Diego beach again...go figure..!

{ChRiStMaS in Disneyland.....!}

Well now that the holidays are over and kids are back at school....I can finally update this blog!HA! The holidays were amazing and we had sooo much fun this year! We decided to go to Disneyland with the kids for christmas and gave the kids a present from us, and then a present from the family gift exchange....Disney was from Santa..lol! We stayed at the Hilton Suites and took a shuttle bus each day after eating an amazing breakfast served to us at the hotel which is the best way to go, it was included in our package. We were able to do all that we wanted it wasn't crazy until Christmas day at Disneyland, but it was good because we saved the last night to get all the souvenirs, we also went to Build a Bear and it was Bells first time! She loved to see all the princesses, there are ton more pics but didn't want to overload...lol

Bells got this frog and of course dressed it up with a tinkerbell costume...so cute!
Of course Dad won the kids A TON of those stuffed animals in California Adventures...love it while you are there, but hate taking them home...lol!

Yep that's right, a friend called to let me know that Golfland would be bringing in snow and it was only $1.00 admission online to get in on the fun....we decided to do it and check it out! It ended up being alot of fun for the kids and Bells had a blast...I was really surprised she took to it like she did. She didn't care one bit about being cold...so much that she took her gloves off..lol! We plan on taking the kids up north after the holidays for a snow day!

I recieved an email the other day on gifts for the YW....and lucky for her I got to make something for my YW girls. At camp this summer, one of our leaders gave an {amazing} talk on Virtue, she then had all the girls sign this flag she made, but the best part, she sent it with a letter to Utah, AND it was published in the November New Era magazine....so I wanted to give the girls something to remember this great spiritual experience and their promise and committment to stay pure for the temple and for their future husbands. Also I get to give the Christmas lesson too in a couple of weeks and so thought the candle was a perfect fit for "Light of Christ".....I love it when things just simply come together!!

Bella's 1st Dentist Appt...!

The other day was this little girls first dentist appt....and was really not worried but yet not sure she would sit there and not be scared, but we have an amazing pediatric dentist and the kids have been going there for years now that they all just love my kids....and of course love to see Bella. To my NOT surprise she did exactly what they wanted her to do, she doesn't give me problems when I brush her teeth, so I figured...but she just laid there and let them do thier thing....SO CUTE!!

She knew what she wanted to do when she found out last year that {New Moon} was coming out 2 days after her birthday so thats what we did....but even better a friend of mine rented out the theater and got to get the tickets a month in advance for her party!! SO FUN!! I got the girls some cute blinged out New Moon shirts and Sabrina wore her tutu..cute! I didn't take a pic of the invitation but I got red apples and added a cute "party with the Cullens" invite tag complete with cute ribbon and tulle. It was a fun night for her and she is sooo thrilled to be in YW with me...that's exciting for both of us!

I have Bronchitis...now for a week...I have probably another week of dealing with it, but it is finally letting down. I have never had Bronchitis and hope that I never get it again! Dealing with this and still throwing up is the worst! It hurts to breath and then you have this uncontrollable urge to cough until you feel like passing out! and also MAJOR headaches too...{Not to mention being pregnant and having Gunnar on my bladder peeing every time I coughed...FUN!} I never thought I would get out those pads while being pregnant..heehee I was down on the couch for 3 full days feeling like I just wanted to die...so I picked up my journal and started back reading through all my other pregnancies, can you believe that I am only sick like this with the boys....crazy! Maybe it's just the boy hormones my body can't deal with, anyhow I am trying to stay positive and am grateful that I can even have babies, as I know there are soo many who cannot. For someone who has never had a glorious pregnancy, who absolutely hates it only because I seriously feel like someone shoved me out and replaced her with someTHING else, cannot explain to anyone how the heck I am having my sixth one.....all I can say is that I love my babies, thier lives thier breaths, thier tears, thier happiness, and the {joy} they truly bring to my life...I would have six more if I could! I am excited for what awaits each one of them and for thier continued journey of this life. There is alot of things out there that worry me, drugs, sex, addictions, all of that but for some reason I feel already at peace that I know I am doing everything I can to teach them what Heavenly Father wants me to...having said all that.,....boy will I be glad when this pregnancy is over and I can feel like myself again...!!

I took Bells shopping the other day for some winter clothes and picked up this cute hat...and added this huge flower to it.....I love it...she is a gem! I feel the more people that can look at her instead of me is a blessing in disquise, they don't see the pale faced, fatigued look, blemishes galore, flat hair, big belly and clothes that don't fit momma next to her.....LOL!

Ward Trunk R Treat...!

So I realized that I have no pictures of my boys, R.J. was at his football practice before his game that night, in which we went all dressed up... and Colton left across the street to the park where our Ward's Trunk r treat was and didn't see him again until he came up to me with MAJOR Costume {malfunctions.}....I won't embarrass him by posting what happened but he quickly ran home searching for another one...too funny! I have to say that my boys won't let me make thier costumes...but my girls will!! Colton's response was "Mom I know you can do anything...but I think it would be really hard for you to try to make a sword"...um ok son..lol! Actually Bella's was a last minute thing, she was going to be this really cute pirate princess too, but couldn't pull that off...so I thought you can't go wrong with a witch....soo cute! Poor Sabrina bought her costume and it ended up being too big and kinda weird looking so I again...totally last minute..{what a totally awesome mom she has..} put together her pirate princess costume! She wanted to wear Cambrie's pirate costume, but we allknow that you have to buy the biggest size for it to cover all thier bodies...in which they didn't have another size...I still had to have Cambrie wear a tutu under her skirt because I think the costume people want thier butts hanging out..sickos... she also wore black leggings instead of the netted leggings that came with the costume....Netting screams to me skanky..don't know why? I have to say again and again how frustrating it is to find modest costumes that are cute...HA and one of my friends said 'You just wait until High school dances and those dresses..." UGG......I think I may just go do a sewing class so I can learn how to make those for my girls..!! SeRiOuSlY...!! I am soooo trying to be nice here people!!
All and all we had sooo much fun...again I just love to see Bella so excited about things and my other kids....it makes being a mom sooo much fun! It was stinkn freezing though...but alot of fun..we truly have the best ward ever!!!
Cambrie just looks like a pirate princess...she is absolutely gorgeous...I am bragging..!!

So with Sabrina, I sewed her bandana and added an iron on skull to the front of it, made her eye patch complete with blingage...made her tie up corset and belt, and of course the tute...she can't wait to wear it to her school party on Friday....I guess in 6th grade it's the cool thing to be original, and really I don't think she is other than it was made...I think original is something like an Ipod, or one of my YW made her costume out of felt and was a Hershey bar...sooo cute! That's original...hers is just SaSs-eY and DiVa'ISH...LOL

I saw these from various blogs and decided to try them out with Sabrina....we had sooo much fun making these! Super easy too! Get some jars, various sizes, get your mod podge and put a thin coat on the jar and put strips of tissue paper on top and press slightly to smooth out, not to hard or you'll rip the paper. I downloaded "punkinhead" font (free) for the faces cut those out and mod podged them on, let it dry and then added ribbon and tulle. Insert tealight candles, Christmas lights or those battery operated tealights and VOILA...super cute !! Next I want to do some with words and different looking jars......

Scrapbook Wood Letters...!

I have had these letters for awhile now and they were like a shabby chic white color, and since my decor has changed since then I decided to revamp them with scrapbook paper and ribbon..soo cute!

HAHA.....don't look too close or you'll see dust...just keepin it real people!

I really like how they turned out! I still have some Fall'ish things I want to do...like those really super cute fabric pumpkins...!

Dry Erase Frame..!

I saw this and HAD to do it.....how super easy it was! Just buy a frame, cover the back with your fabric and then put the frame back together....That's it!! Then use a dry eraser to write on..Super cute! This way the kids can put what they also want from the stores...really that would be Sabrina..she is my big helper in that area..This board is in my pantry so I had to match it with my craft area side...and LOVE it!! Tip: make sure you use a light color fabric and not too busy..I origanally wanted to use a damask black and white, but then you couldn't see my writing..lol!

If you look at my last halloween post my decorating is pretty much the same with some changes, so I don't want to bore you with that, but did find some cute stuff.....eventually I want to totally deck out my ent. center all Halloween, but because its soo big, it will prob. take me a few years..lol....but can I just say how eas..IER it would of been to wait until this year to buy all the glittered skulls and stuff.....last year I had to glitter my own.....I love Walmart's glittered skull bodies..I plan on getting some of those!!

I am not sad or anything don't get me wrong.....was at the park today with some friends and thier kids and it was actually really nice and breezy...I love the Fall weather, and the crockpot soups, CANNING, baking bread and my beloved Gold Canyon Candles that I burn daily throughout!

I will be getting my Halloween and Fall stuff up this week and next week...there are some really cute things out there that I want to do this year....I already have Bells costume in mind...sooo cute! I have had alot of emails on my past Halloween and Fall posts..that I decided to look at them and can I just say..I AM CRAZY!!! Seriously some MAD lady with all her decorating and bling...but hey it's fun and I can't promise you this year will be the same..so don't hold me to it!!lol!! Don't forget I am preggers now so cut me some slack..ladies..PLEASE!!
Anyhoo... I did these cute FALL blocks the other day and glittered and blinged this FAMILY sign out.....
I am a little slow because the other day (Saturday) a friend and I did some canning again and I seriously burned my hand...2nd degree people....it hurts I can't even tell you the pain I am feeling....ugg! We decided to can at least once a month...next will be Chili...yum!

San Diego Vacation Summer 09'

In July we headed out to San Diego with our favorite family..the Johnstons. We rented this cute beach house right on the beach and stayed for a whole week. It was sooo much fun to just relax and not worry about anything...actually my only worry was if I would start feelin my morning sickness, which luckily it started on Fri. the day before we left! We also went to SeaWorld and some shopping...fun..we wanted to go to the temple but it was closed for cleaning, but we drove by it at least...it's beautiful!! It was alot of beach hangin, late nights....food shopping..lol and cooking...my kind of vacation with my favorite people in whole wide world!!

Fun Ruffle Fabric flowers...!

I had some left over zebra fabric that I had sewn into a ruffle for one of Bella's dresses and have seen these cute fabric flowers and decided to giveit a try....can I say Easy Peasy....seriously all I did was just twist the ruffle into 3 layers and then hot glued the middle button, made a clip on back and was done.....super cutesy!

So before school actually started we got a great deal at the Vans store, buy 1 get 1 50% off sale...and decided to bling them out...AREN'T THEY SOO DARN SASSE-Y'!! I get a million compliments whenever the girls wear them...and the awesome thing is that Sabrina is now wearing tennies like 3 times a week which is a NEVER for this gem princess!! I needed something to get her to wear close toe shoes....I want her to get dirty sometimes y'know..!!!lol!!

Yesterday we celebrated R.J.'s the big 15! He also finally got permission from his doctor to play in his Football Game for Gilbert High! He had a hip injury over the summer and worsened it over football camp right before school started...so anyhow he was VERY excited to be able to play and so were we! (even thought they lost to of all teams...Shepherd Jr. High which is MY Jr. High growin up...weird!)All of my side of the family were there and Ray's side and the Johnstons to cheer him on..I even made posterboards with crepe paper, brought some balloons and made cupcakes...FUN! Afterwards we all went to Someburros for dinner where he opened up his gifts...He wanted an Iphone soo bad, so we were able to pull that off for him...he was soo happy, he got alot of money which is good for a teenager and a wallet and Itunes card...Happy birthday buddy...hope you had an awesome day...love you!!

I have had a ton of emails wondering where the heck I've gone.....well blame it on Hypermesis graviderium..severe morning sickness...yep I'm preggers again...my sixth...ooh-la-la..so excited but hate that I can't go far with out a toilet nearby and my hormones are like super crazy and overloaded...but I am starting to feel a little better almost done with my 1st trimester so this should go away for good in the next week!

I have sooo much to blog about..crafts, hair stuff, vacations..the kiddos..but in due time I will...Thanks for all your sweet loving words....

Since I am on this scrapbooking thing..along with alot of other "crafty" stuff on my mind, Cambrie turns the big 8 in February and so I have been thinking of things for that. Now I have done this 3 times for my kids and like 7 other times for friends and family members I feel like I do something to the same effect every time...don't get me wrong, each one is different and taylored around that person but I want something different....any ideas?? I am all about traditions, starting them and doing them..so for anyone needing a new tradition for Sabrina's baptism I gave a talk on the Holy Ghost, got my favorite gramma Joyce and she showed me my first sewing lesson and she helped me make a white "comforter" for her and that was very SPECIAL and she loves it.I told her that when she needed to feel "comforted" that she could take this white comforter and wrap it around her, pray for the Holy ghost and that he would touch her heart to help her when she needed it that the Holy Ghost was like this comforter, to feel peace, love and warmth.... I will have to post about her baptism next and show you...so anyways I will probably do that for Cambrie too....
So anyhooo this is Colton's Baptism Scrapook that I made...I like it and think it is really cute..thought I'd share! Next I will do Sabrina's and when I get the baptism album from my good friend Kell who by the way just got baptized 4 weeks ago I will post about that too...FUN!

Got together with some girlfriends and did some scrapbooking pages...some of them don't have pics yet..but will put some in...I think they are cute! I wish however that I could say I was a total scrapaholic....which I AM NOT...I find that I have so many kids...TONS of pictures and really just overwhelmed with the whole thing...ugg...someday!!

My lil' man Colton turns the big 10 today....can't believe how big this kid has gotten! I am grateful that he is turning out to be such a good boy...Colton is very loving and kind and is always compassionate about others and how they are feeling..he is very sensitive and will be the first one to cry about anything. He also takes care of his momma and is always making sure that I am ok or if I need help...He is the best ever...Love You Colts forever!! Hope you have a great day...we have decided to wait until after our vacation and after school starts to have his "Colton's Campground" Party...stay tuned for that...I have alot of fun things planned for this...any ideas let me know!!

First we went to Denny's for breakfast.....we love that place for breakfast food...then we came home and got ready for Bigsurf...I know again....we got the season passes so we go there alot!..We met the Johnstons and Moons for some fun family time...then we came home and got ready to go see fireworks! We went to the "Living Word" christian church in Mesa...and it was alot of fun, brought blankets and got our favorite KFC met up with some longtime friends the Bailey's and just hung out until the show started...it was an awesome show. Bells was a little scared at first but was ok afterwards! After that we went to the Johnstons for some more swimming and dessert and also watched "The other side of Heaven" love that movie! All in all it turned out to be a great fun day and night!!

We did however manage to get a good family pic.....

I made this cute cozie for Bells...not like she really needs another one, well actually messed up on an order and so poor Bells gets all the messed up ones, but she doesn't notice..so have been wanting to make a blanket for Baby our other dog for his cage that he LoVeS!! I think it's cute, but Cambrie keeps reminding me he is a boy not a girl..and so I told her that he was a "TrEndY" boy dog and that the blanket doesn't have ruffles....she said "oummm"...lol! FUN!!

On Tuesday we came home from dinner at Texas Roadhouse and went as usual to let the dogs in and noticed right away that our dog of 15 years, Dolche' was laying still in the grass which is extremely unusual as they are always both at the door when they hear the garage open...I knew something was wrong right away...so I had Ray go check and to my sadness he was gone...
We had him when R.J. was just a baby, we got him from my grandma and he instantly attached himself to R.J.... it was a sad night for all of us. Dolche' had really bad arthritis in his legs and I knew it would be soon when he would cry because I had gone up the stairs and he couldn't follow, so then one of the kids would pick him up and bring him to me...sad...We'll always remember you buddy!!

Today Colton goes to our ward's Cub Scout Day Camp and it's for 3 days..so I am always worried he may lose or forget his things so I went over to one of my fav sites meckmom.com because she always has fab ideas on organizing and saw these labels....they are super cute and easy..all you need to do is print off your label, laminate, hole punch and then use these rings that open to clip onto anything...gotta love that!!

Ok so I am WaY behind on this blogging thing, facebook and email but have been so busy getting ready for girls camp...! I was in charge of making journals for the girls(30) and coming up with a craft! I only have one pic of the journals, bu I made two different kinds, they were really cute and the necklace is from Sugardoodle.net......this one was a little difficult but was amazed that the girls did theres really cute! Only because it was hardto align the letters perfectly and hammer the stamps enough to make an indention!! But the girls loved them anyways...

Some Baseball Inspiration...!

These were for Colton's baseball team coach gifts I did last year and then did this year too but didn't take pics....I filled up this baseball ball bucket with a whistle, peanuts, sunflower seeds, beef jerky, Babe Ruth candy bars, water bottles, a clipboard and pen, bubble gum, a baseball with all the kid's signatures, popcorn and gatorade! They loved getting this and it was fun to put together..and then of course did some cupcakes...

Yes...one of the coaches would be my husband..!

These are pics from the kids' elementary school....when R.J. and I got there to Cambrie's class, Miss Mead and Cambrie were just bawling and then came all the other kids crying...I felt so bad but love that they just love eachother...we were able to go to Miss Mead's baptism earlier in the year and so they are just really close....I like that! I have to say that this school I love...the teachers and the principal are the best and you know they just love all the kids, I feel really blessed for that! Hooray for Summer...! I am excited to have the kids home with me....!

R.J.'s end of the year Highlights..part 1

My little "baby" is getting SOO big, I can hardly stand it.....as they were calling his name and as I watched him get his Jr. High certificate...those tears started forming.....ugg! I am sad to see him get so big so fast, but also excited and proud of who he is and who he has become! The Vice Principal called out his name and said he would be one of those kids that she has loved and would never forget......super sweet..! I cannot believe he will be a High Schooler....CrAzY!! Better yet I can't believe this school year is over.....

I am super late on posting this because this happened like 3 weeks ago.....but late is better than never...lol! The boys had Father and Son's and so us girls went out to eat dinner at Olive Garden on Friday night....YUM! and then came back to my house. We got Bride Wars but never got around to watching it because we were laughing and talking about EvErYtHinG..until really late! It's fun to hang out with my girls and talk about everything Girls talk about..We also made some Homemade ice cream.. so then on Sat. we went and got pedis! That was fun, except holy cow it was super hot in that place....geeshh! We had a super blast together....!

Of course you know when I start something, it seems to be the only thing I can think of..hence...these super cute survival kits! What do you think? I had to buy like the box of the item instead of just one bandaid, so at least the bag was filled up. I think they turned out adorable, but I have to say I accidentally left off my signature tags....owell! I am sure these awesome teachers won't mind..! I have been very lucky to have such great teachers all the time, every year with my kids...SERIOUSLY no issues, well maybe like two that were quickly handled. I try to be involved as much as I can with the kids and school, and with so many of them it can be hard at times...but really my kids do so well with thier teachers that its been nice to see them have friendships with them....it's great!

Last year a couple of us put these together for our ladies that were special to us for Mother's Day, and I think they are really cute! So I decided to do these and add my favorite conference talk and a yummy fruit salad recipe. I really do love these "survival" kits, you could use them for almost anything, actually next week the Beehives are doing "Finals Survival" kits for the girls in YW, I will post about that soon. I need to finish my Teacher Appreciation gifts, go Visiting Teaching, attend a "Talent" show, and also sometime post some more, I have alot to share the last couple of weeks...lol!

I was asked by one of the YCL's to teach the 1st years (which we only have two!) on preserving and preparing food while at camp....so up my alley as I love love LOVE to camp! I had alot of ideas to share...which one of the girls said "I really need you to talk with my mom"...FUNNY!! Sometimes I forget that they are just kids..lol! Finally got these letters done....I have had them for like 6 months....geeshh! But they turned out really cute....my pantry is coming around nicely I have to say..! Now onto my table skirt.....got it done but need to add ribbon and tulle.....FUN!
